Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the reliability and safety of our heavy equipment fleet. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities + Work closely with team members and supervisors to complete maintenance tasks efficiently. + Maintain a safe work environment by following all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations. + Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment and related machinery. + Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists, hand tools, and power tools. + Identify and replace defective components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, valves, and electrical systems. + Perform welding and structural repairs as needed. + Conduct operational tests to ensure equipment meets performance standards. + Keep accurate records of time, parts, and maintenance activities. + Assist with planning work procedures and recommend improvements for efficiency. + Support other maintenance team members and contribute to overall operational success. + Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas. + Perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Experience in truck and/or heavy equipment maintenance, including diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. + Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills. + Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, conduit work, and wiring. + High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or two-year certificate preferred. + Valid Commercial Driveru2019s License (CDL Class A preferred) and compliance with fleet safety standards. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to pass pre-employment screenings + Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift/carry heavy materials. + Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. + Professional, courteous attitude and commitment to teamwork. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Bloomsdale, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
