Role Summary As a Radiologic Technologist , youu2019ll perform diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment. You will collaborate with radiologists, providers, and other caregivers to deliver accurate, highu2011quality imaging and an excellent patient experience. The ideal candidate brings strong technical proficiency in imaging techniques, outstanding patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fastu2011paced, teamu2011oriented environment. Essential Functions + Maintain ARRT or modalityu2011specific competency in all clinical and technical functions. + Ensure proper patient identification and order verification; prepare patients for exams. + Perform exams per department protocol; review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy . + Adhere to radiation safety guidelines; maintain a safe working environment. + Complete studies within acceptable time limits without compromising care or quality; assist and instruct students/other techs in protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment. + Provide appropriate patient education; ensure comfort and address concerns. + Practice appropriate infection control and sterile technique. + Operate equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images. + Keep accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions. + Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC programs, and reporting equipment failures. Minimum Qualifications + ARRT (R) certification. + Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice (Utah). + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers. + May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform MA functions in clinic/InstaCare settings.
