VCA Far Country Animal Hospital is seeking to add a front-of-house Rock Star to our team We currently have an opening for a part time position, working 3 days per week. The successful candidate will have solid multi-tasking skills, impeccable customer service and perform with a high level of accuracy - all with a smile on your face The team at VCA Far Country is fun, hardworking and we strive to take the best possible care of our patients and clients. We are looking for someone who: u2022 Is detail oriented and has the ability to own their oversights and mistakes u2022 Adept at learning new information quickly and are largely self-directed in performing their work u2022 Able to take feedback and direction well, with a positive can-do attitude u2022 Has an upbeat attitude with calm demeanor, can handle stressful periods in the work day u2022 Is absolutely committed to making the clinic the best possible environment for clients and co-workers alike Essential duties of this position are: u2022 Greeting clients, answering multi line phone system, making appointments u2022 Cash handling-collecting deposits and processing payments u2022 Managing medical records, reports and correspondence u2022 Ensuring lobby and other client accessible areas are neat, clean and free from odors. u2022 Computer literacy-Able to utilize Word, Excel, Outlook and be adept at learning new software Physical requirements of this position are: u2022 Any allergies to animals must be controllable through medication u2022 Must be able to lift 40 pounds u2022 This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a minimum 8 hour day u2022 Visual acuity sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people and understand written directions u2022 Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand, give information in person and over the telephone u2022 Fine motor skills adequate for utilizing hospital equipment Reliability and flexibility in schedule is required. Shifts vary, our hospital hours are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday-Saturday. Candidates with veterinary or medical office experience are highly desirable and priority for interviewing and hiring will be giving to those candidates.
