JOB REQUIREMENTS: MSA is seeking a Project Engineer Transportation inMadison, WI to focus on traffic and roundabout planning, design, andengineering services. What you will do: Manage projectsincluding planning, scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and QA/QC Designtransportation infrastructure with a strong emphasis on trafficoperations, intersection improvements, and roundabout design Preparedetailed plans, specifications, bidding documents, and technical reportsDevelop and coordinate regulatory permit applications Build and maintainclient relationships through meetings, collaboration, and responsivecommunication Lead and review proposals with support from MSA teammembers Mentor and support junior staff in their professionaldevelopment Participate in public engagement, including preparingpresentation displays and representing projects at public meetingsProvide construction management and inspection support as needed MSA isan equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that is committed todiversity and inclusion in the workplace. If you are unableto submit your application because of incompatible assistive technologyor a disability, please contact us at Equal EmploymentOpportunity/Affirmative Action Employer OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: What you bring: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering(required) Minimum of 4 years of traffic/transportation engineeringexperience with a focus on traffic operations, intersection design,and/or roundabout planning and design (required) Professional Engineer(PE) license (WI PE preferred) WisDOT project experience, particularlyin traffic studies, safety analyses, and roadway design (preferred)Experience with Civil 3D design software (desired) Previous clientliaison and project management experience or a strong desire to stepinto that role (required) Excellent written and verbal communicationskills, with the ability to present technical concepts to clients,stakeholders, and the public Desire to work in a consulting environmentand contribute to collaborative, client-focused solutions The selectedcandidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
