Concrete Carpenter

As a ConcreteCarpenter, you will work alongside carpenters to perform a variety ofresponsibilities related to rough and finish carpentry as well aspouring and finishing concrete. You will execute a variety of carpentrytasks associated with prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing ofconcrete. Specific responsibilities include: Building and/or assemblingwood or metal forms for the construction of concrete floors, slabs,sidewalks, walls, columns, stairs, etc. Setting and placing forms toproper elevations and locations. Setting and erecting wall forms using awide variety of materials and forming systems, primarily Advance forms(90% of our work is 4' frost wall). Cutting, fabricating, andinstalling reinforcing steel. Finish grading and installing vaporbarrier. Verifying the accuracy of structures using a rotary laser,transit, and or total station. Fabricating and installing stairs, walls,ceilings, and roofs using materials such as wood, steel, metal,plastics, and composites. Fabricating and installing steel stud bearingwalls, partition walls, and soffits. Erecting scaffolding and laddersfor assembling structures above ground levels. Coordinating withsubcontractors and superintendents to ensure tasks are completed toschedule. Following established safety rules and regulations to maintaina safe job site. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Qualified candidates will have the following: Experience placing andfinishing interior and exterior concrete slabs. Experience laying-out,forming, and placing concrete footings. Experience laying-out, formingand pouring concrete walls using Advance forms. Experience in stickbuilt and prefabricated wood construction (preferred). Knowledge ofconstruction and carpentry equipment and tools (including power toolsand skid loaders). Ability to read plans, specifications, and shopdrawings. Dedication to job site safety. Experience in layout and jobset-up. Effective working individually and within team environments.High initiative and passion for learning. Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills. Valid driver's license (preferred).
