Job Description Role Overview: As a Sr Specialist u2013 Financial Consolidation and Close, you will be responsible for supporting and managing financial consolidation systems which is used for consolidating company financial statements. You will collaborate with business teams and other technical teams to ensure that the consolidation system (FCCS) and its supporting infrastructure is up and running all the time. Essential skills include a strong technical background, proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum), and excellent organizational abilities and strong technical and functional knowledge on finance systems in Account to Report. What will you do in this role: u00b7 Primary point of contact for business stakeholders, IT and Oracle u00b7 Day to day support of FCCS system as part of month end, quarter end and year end close. u00b7 Monitoring batches, consolidations and backups to ensure the processes are run without fail and inform businesses about any issues and address the failures in timely manner. u00b7 Up to date with latest patch notes and test out new features, bug fixes as part of monthly release. u00b7 Perform monthly regression testing to ensure patch testing is done successfully without any issues and capture the results. Perform additional testing for any bug fixes in the patch or raise Service Request with Oracle Support for any new bugs or issues. u00b7 Timely follow-up with Oracle support on open Service Requests for issues, bugs and enhancements. Raise any new Service Requests with appropriate priority based on the severity and impact. u00b7 Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements for any enhancements or changes. u00b7 Collaborate with other teams wherever possible for enhancements, testing and any issues during close. u00b7 Knowledge of ITIL (Incident, problem management, Change management) u00b7 Assist the Product Owner on the tech debt remediation on archiving these systems. u00b7 Define, document, and execute tasks. Work in a team, actively participating in all phases of the project. Identify, assess, and manage risks effectively u00b7 Daily check-in with the offshore team and delegate tasks u00b7 Undertaking basic risk management activities. Maintain documentation of risks, threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation actions. u00b7 Keeping the user guides and design documents up to date and meet the SDLC standards u00b7 Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. u00b7 Understand the technical aspects of the project to make informed decisions, provide guidance, and communicate effectively with the development team. This includes having a deep understanding of the technology stack, architecture, and potential technical challenges. u00b7 Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring that the team focuses on delivering the most valuable features. What Should you have: u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree or advanced degree in Finance preferred. PMP certification or SCRUM certification is a plus. u00b7 Minimum 7+ years of experience in managing consolidations systems using Oracle EPM Cloud (FCCS) and Narrative Reporting. Knowledge of ARCS, Free Form and Planning cloud is a plus. Knowledge of HFM, FDMEE and Essbase is a plus but not required. u00b7 Proficient in finance business processes and clear understanding of close and consolidation best practices. Deep functional and technical knowledge of all aspects of Oracle FCCS (e.g., Consolidations, Intercompany Eliminations, Currency Translation) and ARCS (e.g., Reconciliation Compliance, Transaction Matching). u00b7 Knowledge of SOX processes and reports to provide for SOX audits u00b7 Working knowledge of scheduling tools like Autosys u00b7 Proven experience in leading complex technical projects in a fast-paced environment. u00b7 Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. u00b7 Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project). u00b7 Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams. u00b7 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. The salary range for this role is $104,200.00 - $163,900.00 This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
