What You'll Do: + Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal. + Carry out regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. + Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or customers, offering assistance and information as needed. + Support emergency response activities as required according to site instructions and Allied Universal standards. + Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate personnel. + Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity within the retail environment. Minimum Requirements: + Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree. + Possess an armed guard card or armed guard license. + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Participate in industry-specific security training programs. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driveru2019s license will be required for driving positions only.
