DescriptionThe Assistant Manager, Experience Center (XC) partners with the Manager to oversee the day to day activities of a team of Financial Solutions Representatives in processing routine financial transactions for members. The Assistant Manager handles daily operational tasks and ensures member service levels are met or exceeded.Primary Responsibilities:Handle and oversee the daily operations of the XC (including cash and vault balancing, negotiable items, audits)Partner with Manager in leading a team of high-performing and engaged employees through effective people leadership practices including regular communication of performance expectations and feedback to employees to maintain high team performance; provide coaching and corrective action as required; actively support employee professional growth and developmentMaintain and enforce systems, policies, procedures and productivity standardsPartner with Manager in effectively using KPIs and reports to analyze and determine necessary actions to identify gaps in the business and take action to resolveEnsure member service projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budgetPartner with other business units to resolve member issues or grow member relationships; actively participate in cross-functional meetingsResearch, resolve and communicate operational issues and potential problems to leader and/or other business unitsIdentify, manage and mitigate risk within XC (including identify theft, overdrafts, etc)Manage vendor relationships to support operational excellence and member service levelsExperience and Education Requirement:Minimum Education:Bachelor's degree is preferredMinimum one year experience in retail financial services with a proven successful track record in deepening and acquiring member relationshipsMinimum 6 months' experience leading people or teamsProven people management and development skills, adept at providing frequent and valuable performance feedback to develop and build employees to achieve department goalsAbility to use data and analytic information to gain insights and drive strategic directionAbility to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlinesStrong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiencesFamiliarity with CRM software is preferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteCertification/License: N/ALocation:Bellevue, WA 98074 (FULL TIME ON-SITE)Target Compensation:$72,000 to $85,000 annually + monthly incentiveBenefits options include:Traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage401K matching up to 5% per pay periodAccrue up to 17 days of Paid Time Off your first year of employment11 paid federal holidaysSpecial employee pricing on lending products such as mortgage, auto, and personal loans (eligibility for special employee pricing is subject to standard account requirements and underwriting criteria)What makes First Tech different?
