LTD, 401k, employee assistance programs, health savings account u2022 Generous paid time off plan and holiday pay u2022 Work week Monday - Thursday 4 - 10-hour days OFF Fridays What you will do as an Energetic Assembler u2022 Perform basic assembly and test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment in a production environment. u2022 Regularly handles hazardous and non-hazardous materials as part of the manufacturing process. (i.e. - Solvents, explosives, etc.) u2022 Work requires the ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Process Specifications (PS) to operate and setup machinery and related systems. u2022 This position is responsible for ensuring the safe processing of products that meet customer and NDS quality requirements in accordance with time standards for his/her assigned area of production. u2022 Performs general daily housekeeping and cleaning of equipment and area to ensure a safe working condition for all employees. u2022 Performs general maintenance of equipment as required. u2022 Able to recognize and report all operational variances as trained. u2022 Must display competent dexterity to insure safe handling of explosive devices. u2022 Weekend overtime may be required. u2022 Performs minor set-up for specific equipment when required. u2022 Must be able to wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (safety eyewear, FR coat and pants, conductive shoes and full-face air purifying respirator as required) What you need to qualify as an Energetic Assembler u2022Experience in Aerospace, Energetic or Manufacturing Assembly u2022 2 years manufacturing experience preferred. u2022 High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required. u2022 Ability to walk / stand 80% of the time. u2022 Able to lift 5 lbs. constantly, 25 lbs. occasionally, and 50 lbs. infrequently. Above 50 lbs. with a team lift. u2022 Must have the ability to understand and speak English, as well as read and write in English. u2022 Ability to accurately read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. u2022 Experience in manufacturing, assembly, and packaging. u2022 Proficiency with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) preferred. u2022 Ability to obtain and maintain an ATF Possessor license. u2022 Ability to pass a background and drug test Note Due to US Export Control laws and regulations; applicants selected for employment must show proof of a U.S. Person status before employment may begin.
