Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Lab Manager for our pharmaceutical partner in Cambridge, MA. This role supports small-molecule process development activities within an advanced R&D environment. We are seeking a hands-on laboratory manager with strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to support day-to-day lab operations and equipment maintenance. Pay: Up to 57.9/hr based on experience on education Key Responsibilities Laboratory Operations & Support + Provide on-site support for laboratory functions, equipment, and instrumentation maintenance. + Perform experimental protocols to support ongoing R&D technology platforms. + Ensure compliance with all required health, safety, and training standards. + Assist with inventory management, purchasing, and coordination of laboratory supplies and chemical compounds. Equipment & Workflow Management + Maintain laboratory equipment and support new equipment installation. + Submit and track service requests; coordinate with service engineers to ensure timely repairs and maintenance. + Develop and maintain training documentation outlining equipment use and workflow procedures. + Partner with IT teams for troubleshooting and maintaining laboratory computer systems. Shipping & Sample Management + Support scientists with shipping chemical samples, bulk chemicals, and intermediatesu2014including coordination of domestic and international logistics. + Monitor and maintain HPLC/UPLC diluent and eluent supplies. + Generate experimental data by following established platform protocols. Qualifications + B.S./B.A. in Chemistry or a related discipline with 3+ years of relevant lab experience , or a Masteru2019s in Chemistry. + Strong hands-on experience in laboratory environments, including equipment operation and maintenance. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Highly organized, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities. + Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience collaborating in team-based environments.
