Reference #: 23270The Manager, Module Process Development will guide a dynamic engineering team focused on advancing our Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC) Module Products. You will play a crucial role in developing and transferring innovative assembly processes to manufacturing, ensuring our optical engines meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to align on product requirements and streamline design qualification efforts. Your attention to detail and strong guidance will empower your team to thrive in delivering cutting-edge solutions that impact the telecommunications landscape.Guide assembly process development and transition of Nokia's Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC) Module Products to manufacturing.Manage and scale a high-performing engineering team specializing in mechanical engineering and material science for optical engine assembly.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and execute process design methodologies.Facilitate interactions with internal and external partners on design, qualification, and project execution efforts.Resolve complex technical demands on one's own and drive innovative solutions, using data-driven methodologies.Develop, monitor, and optimize project budgets, schedules, and risk profiles to ensure timely delivery of objectives.Provide strategic inputs for product roadmaps and manage project milestones.Mentor team members, foster a collaborative environment, and evaluate candidates to build a strong team.You have:MS in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, opto electronics, or microelectronicsProven experience managing diverse teams of strong separate contributorsHands-on experience with opto electronic or microelectronic assembly processes and equipmentStrong engineering and project management skills, including budget and risk managementIt would be nice if you also had:Experience in design methodologies and platform development for optical enginesKnowledge of Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Design of Experiments (DOE)Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to executive leadershipAbility to build cost models and perform competitive analysesCome create the technology that helps the world act togetherNokia is committed to innovation and technology leadership across mobile, fixed and cloud networks.
