We pride ourselves on the quality of service our executive, flight crew, maintenance, charter services, and ground support personnel provide to our clients.About the roleThe Flight Support Specialist will support and manage the daily operations of a dynamic, fast-paced, and established full-service aircraft management and charter company. We are looking for a driven individual with experience in operations, client services, and sales, and a solid understanding of the private aircraft industry.This role is based at our headquarters in Farmingdale, NY, and requires the ability to commute to this locationResponsibilitiesEnsure all flights are organized and handled in a safe, efficient, and professional manner in accordance with the General Operations Manual, Charter Operations Manual, Operations Specifications and company SOP Manual.Will work effectively with the flight crews assigned to company flights to ensure that safety, compliance, and customer service opportunities are successfully orchestrated.Arranges ground transportation, catering or other specific requests for passengers.Coordinates aircraft handling to include arrangements for FBO notification, fuel, catering, hangar, aircraft cleaning, after-hours, or other services as needed.Understands international operations and coordinates permits, handling, parking, airport slots, customs, and overflights.Perform other duties as required.QualificationsMinimum of 3-5 years’ experience in flight operations.Bachelor’s degree in business and/or Aviation related discipline preferred.Possess understanding and knowledge of FAR’s 91/135, including but not limited to crew duty and rest requirements.Ability to multi-task, collect information, analyze data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in a timely manner and ability to work as a team player in a high-pressure environment.Willing to be available and accessible 24/7 as needed as an after-hours on-call person in rotation with other personnel to include weekends and holidays and willing to carry a mobile phone and other termediate computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Jet Insight preferred.General knowledge of aviation, aircraft performance, geography, and travel pensation and Benefits Package:NEA offers a competitive salary, great benefits, and an excellent work environment, with potential to grow within the company.Benefits:• Company sponsored 401(K) Savings Plan and Match program• Medical, Dental and Vision• Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)• Life insurance coverage• Cellphone reimbursementEqual Opportunity Statement: NEA is an equal opportunity employer.
