This hands-on role involves building the structural framework for a variety of roofing projects, ranging from residential and commercial builds to government and historical restorations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, a solid understanding of construction materials and blueprints, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsMeasure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or levelsConstruct the framework of buildings using wood or steel studs and various fastenersInstall drywall panels, sheathing, and structural reinforcementsOperate hand and power tools such as welders, drills, and laser levelsMaintain construction site cleanliness and adhere to safety protocolsCollaborate with other construction professionals, including roofers, carpenters, and engineersAssist in planning and executing framing for specialty roofing projects, including historic or complex buildsFollow project timelines and report progress to site supervisors or foremen QualificationsMinimum 5 years of framing or related construction experienceStrong knowledge of structural engineering principles and material scienceProficiency in blueprint reading and use of CAD softwareFamiliarity with AISI and ASTM codes/standardsSkilled in the use of fasteners (nails, screws, anchors, etc.)OSHA safety certification or knowledge of construction safety practicesHands-on experience with steel framing, drywall installation, and structural repairsExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsPhysically capable of lifting heavy materials and working on your feet for extended hoursHigh school diploma or GED required BenefitsWeekly Pay CyclePaid Time Off (vacation, sick, holidays)Medical, Dental & Vision InsuranceLife and Disability Insurance OptionsPaid Training & CertificationsTech Package (Smartphone or Tablet)Company Vehicle or Mileage ReimbursementUniforms & Safety Equipment ProvidedPer Diem on Travel ProjectsPrevailing Wage Project Opportunities Work ScheduleMonday to Friday, Full-TimeWeekend work required as project schedules demand Work LocationOnsite at active project locations.
