Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet or more.Maintain a clean and safe work area. Pick up and properly dispose of all trash associated with Johnson Controls Fire Protection work. Wearappropriate safetyequipment as required including bump cap/hard hat, safety glasses, cut resistant gloves, face maskand safetytoedboots.Properly secure all Johnson Controls Fire Protection tools and equipment at the end of each work periodso as toprevent damage or loss.Have computer/phoneskills - Word, Excel, Outlook andIPhoneapps and functionsComplete andsubmittime reports and other documents asrequired.Bring to the immediate attention of the dispatcher/supervisorall changes, discrepancies and coordination problems that impair activities or schedules.Working alternate shifts or weekends to meet customer service on call requirements isrequired.Perform other duties as directed.What we look forRequiredHigh School Diploma, or equivalentWorking knowledge of wet, dry and pre-action sprinkler systems, and fire pump systemsa must.Must have a clean driving record.Follow verbal and written instructions3-5 years of experience in the industry, at minimumMust be an experienced Sprinkler FitterPreferredSprinkler and Backflow license a plus or must be obtained.NICET is a plus.Trade school degree or certificateWhat elseyou’llgetSupportive team environment, flexible schedule, mobile device, laptop, company vehiclewhenappropriate.
