Role: Laboratory Coordinator (Contract) Location: New York, NY Duration: 12 Weeks Schedule: Monday-Friday Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Hours: 37.5 hours/week Pay Rate:Local Pay: $2,250 weekly Travel Pay: $2,766 weekly Additional Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ experience, Phlebotomy experience, NYS Clinical Laboratory Technician License Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Laboratory Coordinator (Contract) for an exciting job in New York, NY. Responsibilities Diagnostic & Laboratory Procedures Perform basic and routine diagnostic procedures to isolate and identify microbial pathogens. Prepare clinical specimens and operate automated laboratory analyzers. Conduct manual lab tests according to established protocols. Maintain thorough knowledge of laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and physiological factors affecting results. Quality & Compliance Remain familiar with all testing procedures performed within the lab. Participate in special projects, including evaluation of new products and laboratory equipment. Perform quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability. Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection-control standards. General Support Assist with daily laboratory operations as needed. Ensure proper documentation and maintain accurate records. Carry out additional duties as assigned by laboratory leadership. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience (mandatory) Phlebotomy experience required NYS Clinical Laboratory Technician License required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic proficiency with MS Office Suite Effective verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a clinical laboratory environment Experience working in mobile or off-site clinical units Education Associate degree OR equivalent combination of laboratory education and hands-on experience For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
