Sr Manager Technical Accounting

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $, to $, per year. Job Responsibilities: Evaluate and implement complex accounting standards such as ASC , ASC , and ASC . Prepare technical memos and position papers for senior leadership and external auditors. Support financial reporting through statement preparation, footnote disclosures, and audit coordination. Advise on accounting implications of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. Mentor accounting team members and collaborate cross-functionally to support business objectives. Requirements: Hold a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; an MBA is considered a plus. Maintain an active CPA certification. 8+ years of accounting experience and 5+ years in technical accounting roles. Demonstrate proficiency in financial systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, or Deltek, and Excel. Exhibit flexibility and enthusiasm for working on diverse topics and tasks. Qualifications: Possess deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Showcase strong technical research and writing skills. Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Communicate findings clearly to management and stakeholders.
