What You'll Do: + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed. + Monitor access points and verify the identification of individuals entering or exiting the location, in accordance with established protocols. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with local authorities or emergency services when required. + Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns. + Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports, maintaining accurate records for the location. + Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, providing information and assistance as necessary. + Support Allied Universal in maintaining a secure environment by adhering to all company and client policies and procedures. Minimum Requirements: + At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. + Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. + A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. + Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driveru2019s license will be required for driving positions only.
