Key Responsibilities Operations & Leadership + Oversee all departments, ensuring alignment with brand standards, ownership goals, and financial targets. + Drive guest satisfaction, team engagement, and operational excellence through proactive leadership. + Implement innovative practices that enhance efficiency and elevate the guest experience. Guest Experience + Model a polished, welcoming, service-driven presence throughout the property. + Engage with guests to gather insights and address opportunities for improvement. + Foster a culture where every team member takes ownership of guest satisfaction. Team Development + Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing, service-oriented team. + Build succession plans and development paths for department leaders. + Promote a collaborative, positive, and achievement-driven culture. Sales, Marketing & Community Relations + Partner with the sales team to drive revenue through strategic initiatives, partnerships, and creative promotions. + Serve as the propertyu2019s community ambassador, engaging with local organizations and tourism partners. + Analyze market trends to position the resort as a top choice for leisure and group business. Financial Performance + Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics. + Optimize profitability through effective cost control and strong revenue management practices. + Collaborate with ownership to evaluate performance and implement improvement strategies. Qualifications + Minimum 5 years of General Manager experience , ideally within a resort or full-service property. + Proven success overseeing F&B operations , including restaurant and banquet services. + Strong communication, leadership, and team-building abilities. + Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to balance guest satisfaction, staff engagement, and financial performance. + Experience with hotel openings or repositioning is a plus. + Must be willing to live in or relocate to Lake Placid, NY .
