Job Title: Assemblers Job Description We are seeking dedicated Assemblers to join our team, responsible for assembling electromechanical units by interpreting shop drawings and wiring diagrams, and ensuring precision and quality in all tasks. Responsibilities + Read and interpret shop drawings and wiring diagrams. + Determine component parts and assembly sequences from Bills of Manufacturing. + Make electrical connections on cords and wires according to specifications. + Modify parts using machine tools, power, and pneumatic hand tools. + Assemble parts by positioning, aligning, and fastening assemblies and subassemblies. + Adjust parts for proper fit and assembly using hand and power tools. + Measure parts to determine tolerances with precision instruments like micrometers and calipers. + Attach labels and mark identifying information on parts. + Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to meet specifications and customer requirements. Essential Skills + Consistent work history in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, construction, or similar fields. + High School Diploma or GED. + Electrical experience is required for Bus Way Plugs. + Ability to use hand and power tools and read a tape measure for Bus Way Straights. + Experience with inventory tracking using computer systems for warehouse roles. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to operate cordless hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools. + Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs often. + Finger dexterity for precise and coordinated movements. Work Environment Work in a very clean environment with small assembly stations, maintaining a distance of 3-5 feet from other employees. Be flexible and willing to work in various departments, including warehouse areas. The facility is large, housing over 200 employees. Shifts include 1st (M-TH 6:00AM - 4:00PM), 3rd (M-TH 7:30PM - 5:00AM), Weekend Day (F-SUN 6AM - 6PM), and Weekend Night (F-SUN 6PM - 6AM). Dress code includes shorts or jeans, t-shirts (excluding muscle t-shirts), and steel-toe shoes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, PA.
