Configuration Analyst I (Contractor)

Description We are looking for a Configuration Analyst I to join our team in West Chester, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong ability to analyze product design changes. The role involves ensuring adherence to configuration management standards while collaborating with customers and manufacturers to maintain accurate documentation and reporting processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Analyze product design changes to evaluate their impact on functionality and overall design. u2022 Prepare and maintain documentation necessary to implement design changes effectively. u2022 Collaborate with customers and manufacturers to establish and manage reporting processes for product changes. u2022 Review engineering change data to ensure compliance with configuration management policies and procedures. u2022 Monitor activities related to documentation changes and ensure alignment with established guidelines. u2022 Assist in maintaining consistency and accuracy in product configurations across all processes. u2022 Provide support to ensure procedural adherence and address any discrepancies in configuration management. u2022 Work under supervision to execute tasks based on pre-established guidelines and instructions. u2022 Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to streamline change reporting and documentation processes. u2022 Apply knowledge of industry practices and procedures to ensure effective product configuration management. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in a relevant field is required. u2022 0-3 years of experience in configuration analysis or a related area. u2022 Familiarity with configuration management concepts, practices, and procedures. u2022 Strong documentation skills with attention to detail. u2022 Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and manufacturers. u2022 Proficiency in reporting and adherence to established policies and procedures. u2022 Knowledge of engineering change processes and their implications on product design. u2022 Capability to work under supervision and follow established instructions.
