Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) u2013 School Setting Location: Oakville, WA Pay Rate: $38u2013$40 per hour Hours: 35 hours per week Contract Length: ASAP u2013 End of 2025/2026 School Year Start Date: January 5, 2026 (or sooner if available) Interview: Virtual interview required Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team in Oakville, WA. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to students. Responsibilities include clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment-related activities within the scope of the assigned plan of care. Responsibilities + Assist the Speech Language Pathologist in implementing treatment plans. + Support students with speech and language needs in a school setting. + Document progress and maintain accurate records. + Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success. Minimum Requirements + Graduate of an SLPA program with an associateu2019s degree OR bacheloru2019s degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders. + Completion of at least 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience. + Current SLPA certification/licensure in Washington State. + Compliance with professional standards and state/federal regulations. + Health certificate and TB screening (as required). + Must be at least 18 years of age. + Preferred: One year of prior SLPA experience.
