Job Description Insight Global is seeking a data center logistics technician to join an exciting operations team supporting environmental and sustainability goals. In this role you will route and process decommissioned servers and hardware components to their next useful lives such as internal reuse, other electronic supply chains, or academies that train data center technicians. We are seeking candidates with a background in logistics, warehousing, IT Support, Cabling, and/or heavy machinery. Candidates must have knowledge of Microsoft office suite and a team first mentality. Youu2019ll be supporting core operations like: u2022u2003Hardware decommissioning u2022u2003Parts harvesting u2022u2003Recycling & material tracking u2022u2003Coordinating logistics Day to Day: u2022u2003Supporting deployment of on-site datacenter physical infrastructure u2022u2003Installing, replacing and troubleshooting u2022u2003Cables and Hardware u2022u2003Handling data bearing devices (ex. Hard drives, solid state drives, etc.) u2022u2003Working within a ticket-based environment u2022u2003Performs assigned Logistics/Warehouse u2022u2003Support tasks and escalates issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations u2022u2003Performs data entry to document inbound and outbound packages u2022u2003Ensures accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing deliveries as well as records u2022u2003Performs cycle audits and data corrections to ensure all inventory controls are met We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
