General Production Worker

Job Title: Production Technician Job Description Join our dynamic team where you will play a critical role in the production and assembly process. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment using small hand tools and light power tools to construct sub-assemblies, assemblies, and finished products, as well as performing packaging tasks and operating production equipment. Responsibilities + Assemble sub-assemblies, assemblies, and finished products using hand and power tools. + Perform out-box packaging processes efficiently. + Operate production equipment such as flat wash and presses. + Maintain high-quality standards and ensure accountability for the quality of products assembled. + Keep workstations and departments clean, neat, and orderly following 6S standards. Essential Skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. + Experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred, but not required. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Ability to read and comprehend standard work instructions. + Effective communication skills in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Minimum of one year recent experience in a fast-paced environment within the last 18 months. + Minimum of one year experience utilizing hand or power tools. + Ability to stand for at least ten hours per day. The workforce consists of 350 individuals, working in teams of 15-25. The factory experiences temperature fluctuations, being warm in summer and cool in winter. Dress code includes jeans, t-shirt, and steel-toe footwear. Shifts available: 1st shift from 6:00am to 4:30pm (Monday-Thursday) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake City, MN.
