Duties include: - Conduct snowmobile and snowshoe surveys to locate wolf tracks, trails, and predation sites - Collect biological samples (scat, hair, prey remains) for ecological and genetic analyses - Record GPS points, habitat data, and detailed field observations with high accuracy - Assist with GPS collar data downloads and VHF telemetry monitoring - Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot remote trail cameras and other field sensors - Process and organize photos, videos, and field documentation - Navigate remote terrain safely in extreme winter conditions - Maintain snowmobiles, field gear, and camp equipment - Support data entry, field logistics, and preparation of summary reports Qualifications Required Qualifications: Working knowledge of the Greater Voyageurs Ecosystem Field research experience on wolf movements, behavior, and winter ecology. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $29.00 - $31.00; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
