JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description The primary responsibility of theHealth Screener is to provide coverage in the field ensuring that healthscreenings are completed accurately and on time.Maintain a safe andprofessional environment for clients and employees; perform withconfidence all aspects of a health screening, including specimencollection and processing duties following established practices andprocedures. This is an independent contractor (1099) position with thepossibility of converting to a W2 per diem employee after meetingcertain criteria. Responsibilities: Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform biometric screening at client sites including finger stickblood collection, BMI, Blood Pressure and other health screeningservices based on service package Performs basic waived testingtechnical procedures on blood samples and completes required qualitycontrol. Provide exceptional customer service at all healthscreenings. Maintains accurate, complete, and legible records.Participates in training/retraining and continuing education programsas necessary. Complies with all designated safety policies andprocedures in the work area, including the use of applicable protectiveequipment when necessary to prevent exposure to potentially infectiousagents. Understands and complies with applicable federal, state andlocal laws. Adheres to quality assurance procedures and goodmanufacturing practices. Maintain all HIPAA and OSHA standards whileon events. Performs other related duties as necessary. Qualifications:Required WorkExperience: N/A Preferred Work Experience: At least 1 yearof healthcare experience in a professional setting preferred. Physicaland Mental Requirements: Lift light to moderately heavy objects. Thenormal performance of duties may require lifting and carrying objects.Objects in the weight range of 1 to 15 pounds are lifted and carriedfrequently; objects in the weight range of 16 to 40 pounds may be liftedand carried occasionally. Objects exceeding 41 pounds are not to belifted or carried without assistance Requires use of phone and PCFine dexterity with hands/steadiness Handling stress & emotionsConcentrating on tasks Making decisions Adjusting to changeExamining/observing details Sitting or standing for long periods ata time Position requires travel Knowledge: Must be knowledgeable ofrequired regulations and comply with them Meet state licensurerequirements, if applicable.
