HVAC Controls - Senior Field Service Technician

As an HVAC Controls - Senior Field Service Technician here at Honeywell you will respond and resolve complex service calls providing technical support and troubleshooting to Honeywell customers. Additional responsibilities related to the technical delivery of small service jobs, time and work material, and preventive maintenance may be assigned as well. This customer will have various products installed that fall into the u2013 HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire, and security systems category as well as their associated computer systems. The goal is to ensure system up-time and efficiency. You will report directly to the Field Service Supervisor and work on-site at NASA JSC, Houston, following a Monday through Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our service operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the growth of our business by ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: u2022 Can independently troubleshoot and repair complex issues. u2022 Can program more than one system. u2022 Perform system back-ups and install appropriate updates and patches. u2022 Run one-off problems, scenarios, and integrations based on the needs of the customer. u2022 Program EBIs . u2022 Understand and apply knowledge of virtual machines, system imaging, and networking to serve the needs of the customers (may need to possess certifications). u2022 Complete required documentation for work performed or other contractual obligations. u2022 Proper use of safety personal protection equipment. u2022 Security and other clearances as required by customer. YOU MUST HAVE u2022 3 years HVAC Building Automation Systems experience, including operating a voltage multi-meter and wiring relays. u2022 Ability to work independently 75% of the time. u2022 High School Diploma or equivalent. u2022 US Citizen and able to obtain military clearance u2022 Valid Driveru2019s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell.
