City : Rose Hill State : North Carolina (US-NC) Country : United States (US) Requisition Number : 42536 A Day in the Life:The Elevator Operator is responsible for shipping and receiving meal product arriving by railcar and departing by truck in an efficient manner with respect to production, quality, sanitation, and safety.Position Details:Schedule: 9:00pm - 5:00am with occasional weekends and holidaysMust be able to work overtime as neededHourly pay rate: $22.98What You’ll Be Doing:Operate systems required to receive and ship product in a safe and efficient mannerMaintain and troubleshoot all equipment within the facilityFollow all safety, environmental, and emergency proceduresFollow switch engine and rail proceduresFollow sample procedures as it relates to shipping productOperate mobile equipmentMonitor product levels and assist in monthly inventoriesKeep work areas and grounds clean at all timesActively participate in all aspects of safety including near-miss reporting and meetingsPerform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Knowledge of manufacturing processes and proceduresKnowledge of basic mathGood oral and written communications skillsUnderstanding of related basic technologyAbility to work comfortably in high places and outdoors in all weather conditionsDemonstrate strong customer service skillsMust be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervisedPreferred Qualifications:Strong mechanical skillsProficiency in basic computer skillsBackground in agricultureBenefits:Health Benefits - Offering choices so you can enroll in medical, dental and vision plans that meet your individual needs.401(k) Retirement Plan - Investing in your future with an automatic 5% company contribution AND matching up to 4% of your contributions.Family Support - Supporting new and growing families by providing 6 weeks of 100% paid parental leave and fertility coverage.Tuition Reimbursement - after one year of service, eligible for tuition expenses reimbursement of up to $5000 per year.Vacation time- We value work-life balance and offer a generous vacation program.
