Apply for JobJob ID90802LocationAuroraPosition TypeRegularRegular/TemporaryRegularAdd to Favorite JobsEmail this JobJob OverviewThe Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Lead is responsible for managing a team of NNPs in a clinical practice location and leading team members in providing direct patient care by demonstrating expert clinical knowledge; ensuring compliance with quality and safety initiatives and practices; and partnering with a multidisciplinary team in meeting the clinical needs of patients and families.u00a0The NNP Lead also provides leadership and management to the clinical practice location team members and is the point of contact for any birthplace, SCN/NICU, or OB concerns related to neonates or the CHCO NNP Program.u00a0The NNP Lead will provide oversite of team member performance and collaborate with the team and clinical practice site on unit specific goals and initiatives, policy/procedure/guideline consultation/development, team member education.u00a0Finally, the NNP Lead serves as a point person for team scheduling, payroll, and onboarding/orientation of team members to their clinical practice location.This position supports the Level IV NICU on the CHCO Anschutz campus in AuroraIn addition to this role, the Lead NNP will also fulfill the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner-NICU Job Description for all clinical time.Job StatusFull-time, eligible for benefitsShiftDays, Monday-FridaySalary InformationAnnual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $140,287.01 to $210,430.52Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.Eligible IncentivesThis position is eligible for relocation benefits (100 mi. or greater)- benefit amount based on relocation region.Minimum QualificationsDegreesBachelor of Science in Nursing & Master's Degree NNPExperienceThree years in a NNP roleLicenses & CertificationsRegistered Nurse License (RN); Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) License; Prescriptive Authority License; Board Certification as a NNP; Credentialing must be completed by the Medical Staff Office (MSO) within 3 months of employmentBLS/CPR from the American Heart Association; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certificate and optional Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Benefits InformationAs a Children's Hospital Colorado team member, you will receive a competitive pay and benefits package designed to take care of your needs that includes base pay, incentives, paid sick leave and a robust wellness program.As part of our Total Rewards package, Children's Colorado offers an annual employee bonus program that rewards eligible team members based on organizational performance.
