This is a unique opportunity to work alongside expert surgeons, providing advanced care for patients with complex urologic needs in both acute and ambulatory settings. What We're Looking For Education u2022 Masteru2019s Degree required u2022 Graduate of an NCCPA-accredited Physician Assistant program OR NP/post-Masteru2019s NP program Experience u2022 One year of urology experience preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration u2022 Current PA or NP license in the appropriate state required u2022 NCCPA certification or registration with the state nursing board required u2022 ACLS certification required u2022 DEA registry required u2022 RNFA certification required for NP applicants Additional Skills Required u2022 Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing u2022 Thorough knowledge of diagnosis and pharmacology u2022 Strong skills in physical assessment and management of chronic illness u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills u2022 General computer knowledge preferred u2022 Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the care team u2022 Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and creative thinking skills u2022 Dedication to patient rehabilitation and promotion of self-care Why Choose Novant Health?
