The Developmental Appraisal Review Specialist isresponsible for managing the review and approval of commercial andagricultural appraisals. They are responsible for the review andapproval of internal and external evaluations. As a DevelopmentalAppraisal Review Specialist, you will: Perform an independent review ofappraisals, based on the Appraisal Review Specialist's independentjudgment and discretion, to determine the reasonableness and accuracy ofthe appraisal. Ensure technical compliance with applicable Nicoletpolicies, regulations, and appraisal standards. The Appraisal ReviewSpecialist's review shall include, but shall not limited to, thereasonableness of the comparable values used by the appraiser, theappraiser's calculations and methodologies, and the capitalization rateused by the appraiser. Require, if the Appraisal Review Specialist deemsrelevant, additional information from the appraiser to support theappraiser's findings. Make recommendations to the Appraisal ReviewManager to reject appraisals that, at the discretion of the AppraisalReview Specialist, are not appropriately supported. Make recommendationto the Appraisal Review Manager on what support should be added.Maintain an accurate pipeline of future appraisals to ensure timelyreview to meeting closing date expectations. Help maintain Nicolet'slist of approved appraisers by providing input on the quality ofappraisals received by Nicolet. Maintain appropriate procedures,records, tracking documentation, and reports for control andreconciliation purposes.
