If you're dedicated, dependable and driven to deliver exceptional guest service, this is a place for you!Whatyou get to do:Ensure a safe environment for all team members, guests, and animalsResponsible for the development of Assistant Supervisors, OJTs, and team members by providing training, feedback and coachingMaintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on any improvement opportunitiesEnsure compliance to all state/federal regulations, park policies, and department proceduresAssist in the creation and adjustment of labor line schedules to maximize our resourcesMaintain resources as needed to complete work assignmentsEnsure assigned work areas are within projected financial plans, this includes both revenue and expenses as assignedAssist the Director and Managers in various projects to improve park operationHandle conflicts between guests and/or team members seeking a win-win solution within company guidelines and strategic objectivesKnow and ensure team members follow all policies and procedures outlined in the team member handbookEnsure all team members provide exceptional guest servicePerform other miscellaneous tasks as requiredWhat it takes to succeed:Have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years oldAt least 1 year proven leadership experience and a good understanding of labor and expense management.Able to successfully complete provided CPR/AED training/certificationCapable and willing to become trained and certified at all areas within the Operations departmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable speaking in front of large groups of guests and team membersAble to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced working environmentHave a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsAble to stand for long periods of time; able to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds; comfortable working at heights up to 60 feet, around water and able to walk in sandAble to assist in ride testing by riding all park ridesAvailable to work varying shifts or hours, which may include days, evenings and nights2 or more years leadership experience preferred3 years guest service experience preferredPossession or pursuit of a bachelor’s degree preferredA valid state driver’s license with the ability obtain a company driver’s license preferredComfortable working at heights 150 feet preferredThe perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as:FREE park admissionDiscounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friendsPark discounts on food, merchandise, etc.Scholarship opportunitiesExclusive employee events and giveawaysEEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
