Estimating Manager

Job Description: Location: Devens, Massachusetts ESTIMATING MANAGER - DEVEN MA Mount Kemble Search Group, a division of CoWorx Staffing Services, is seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join a top client in the Deven MA area. This role will prepare estimates and proposals for bid packages related to high-purity process equipment. You’ll work closely with our sales team, clients, engineering firms, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver accurate and competitive bids. Responsibilities: Develop fixed-price estimates for standard and custom-designed systems. Review RFQs, drawings, specifications, and data sheets; ability to read P&IDs required. Generate exceptions and clarifications for customer specifications. Solicit quotations for materials and subcontract services. Prepare detailed estimates using Excel-based tools and maintain standard pricing. Collaborate with Engineering and Project Management during the bid process. Develop proposals for technical services, spare parts, and YMC Cube product line. Maintain database for Cube systems and manage service for existing installations. Desired Background/Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Bioengineering (or related field) preferred. 5-10 years of relevant experience in estimating or design/build of high-purity piping or skid manufacturing. Strong understanding of valves, instruments, pumps, and control systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering documents, schematics, and P&IDs. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
