Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a talented and team-oriented LPN to join our Balfour Riverfront Park community where we offer senior living tucked into the vibrant neighborhood in Denver, CO. We are committed to a work environment of integrity, respect and a customer focus.The Licensed Practical Nurse provides high quality nursing services to community residents based on each resident’s individual service plan and physician’s orders. Responsible for the delivery of quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being. Location: 1500 Little Raven St, Denver, CO 80202Schedule: Part-Time | Swing shift (days/nights)Pay: $30.00-$36.00/hr + night shift differential + $1000 sign-on bonusWhat will I do every day?You will monitor residents’ well-being in a general way and report any changes in conditionEffectively supervise departmental operations on a day-to-day basisAssess residents to identify their physical, psycho social and environmental needsCommunicate, identify, report and document problemsDemonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriatelyIdentify and recommend other disciplines needed for quality care of the residentDocument evaluation f nursing interventions including resident responseAssess resident and staff knowledge base of disease process, treatment regimen and/or medication administration and assist with care plansProvide resident care activities under the direction of the Assisted Living DirectorAssist with Medication Management ProgramParticipate in the Assisted Living performance improvement processPresent required new hire training and ongoing skills training for associatesAs well as perform other related duties as requiredWhat will I need to be successful in this role?One-year or more experience as a nurse in a senior care setting preferred Assisted living and/or dementia experience preferred Hands on experiencewith ports and Huberneedles a plusExperiencein wound careHands on experiencewith Dialysis shunts a plusSpecial Requirements/Certifications I may need?Current active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practiceGraduate of an accredited RN/LVN/LPN program What’s in it for me?
