The Supply Chain Departmentseeks a highly motivated Supply ChainProcess Transformation Specialist to assist in the redesign of the supply chain processes including implementation of JIT and Kanban.In this role, the Supply Chain Process Transformation Specialist will use lean management techniques to assist in the redesign of the supply chain processes including implementation of JIT and Kanban. Reporting to the Manager, Systems and Process Engineering, this position will have responsibility for assisting in the redesign and implementation of campus wide logistical programs to reduce cycle times and improve material flow and inventory accuracy. Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesConducts Supply Chain process improvement activities and events using appropriate tools and techniques such as 5S, Standard Work, Managing for Daily Improvement, Value Stream/Process Flow Mapping and Pull System/KanbanWorks directly with supply chain area managers to implement process transformation within the supply chain to reduce cycle times. Including, but not limited to, linen redesign, JIT implementation, dock to point of use material flow and inventory accuracy improvement. Assists in the implementation of a point of use supply systemKey team member in the design of a campus wide logistical program. Assists in coordination of logistical planning and implementation of processes to improve and enhance material flowDemonstrates ability to work closely with nursing and procedural areas to implement supply redesign and to ensure all clinical supply needs are being met while reducing on hand inventory valueQualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent training acquired via work experience or educationMasters preferredRequires a minimum of three (3) years of previous job-related experience in supply chainRequires high level of adaptability and interpersonal skillsPreferred QualificationsFour+ years of prior project management and Process improvement experience leading cross functional teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with imperfect or incomplete data sets, make sound assumptions, and drive actionable insightsProficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) to translate complex data into clear, compelling narrativesExcellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities across all organizational levels, with demonstrated success in gaining buy-in for change initiativesSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationPosition DetailsJob Type: Full TimeShift: Days (8am - 5:00pm)Office Location: Hyde Park (In office is required a minimum of 3 days a week)Department: Supply Chain Transformation DepartmentCBA Code: Non-UnionWe’ve been at the forefront of medicine since 1899.
