We provide leading‐edge conveyor and sortation systems, voice and light‐directed order fulfillment equipment, controls and software, robotics, mezzanines, and structures.If you want to join a team of industry leading experts and who want to create an impact on the future of material handling solutions, we want to hear from you!Position Summary:The Manufacturing Engineer plans, designs, arranges, changes, and optimizes Shop manufacturing processes.Ideal Candidate:Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring SponsorshipMust be available to workon-site dailyin Hobart, IndianaAcollaborative team playerwho thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strongattention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Excellentcommunication skills for cross-functional collaboration and reportingSalary Range: $70,000-$90,000Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Develops, evaluates, improves, and documents manufacturing processesDevelops and implements process control proceduresDirects improvements to facilities and processesAnalyzes manufacturing process flows continually to improve quality, cost reduction, and throughputWorks with configuration control and design engineering on product tooling and designConsults with vendors about product specifications, arranging equipment, purchasing parts and material, and evaluating products according to quality standards and specificationsWorking closely with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate and implement technical training for employees.Designs and develops manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, new products and related fixtures and tooling consistent with zero defect level and low product costDocuments tool drawings, design concepts, shop orders, and conceptsHelps Production with troubleshooting and resolving technical problemsEducation and Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or similar fieldEngineering Internship/Co-Op experience preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:Knowledge of manufacturing and Lean conceptsAbility to learn new technologiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrategic thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesTeam-oriented and collaborativeAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageWhy You’ll Love Working With Us!We take care of our team from day one — literally!
