Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist

Nauset Disposalhas an opening for aAccounts Receivable / Collections Specialist based inSouth Yarmouth, MA.Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour plus monthly bonus this position you will be responsible for reaching out to our delinquent accounts via phone calls and emails, taking customer payments over the phone, setting up payment arrangements, and working to resolve problems that arise concerning service or billing.As aCollectionsRepresentative with us the minimum responsibilities are:Making outbound calls and sending emails daily on delinquent accountsWorking closely with various departments to reach monthly collection goalsApply customer payments to accounts in the system and assist withpayment reconciliationHandle difficult customers and escalated callsMaintain accurate notes in customer accountsProvide assistance with on line paymentsProvide customers recap of accounts for billing disputesReporting results to management and escalating problem accountsWhat we need from you:Minimum of 1 year of credit andcollectionsexperience highly preferred.Minimum of 1 year of experience making heavy outboundcollectionscalls highly preferred.Strong computer skills to includeMicrosoft Exceland Word experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to speak a second language is a plus!What you’ll get from us:Competitive Compensation401(K) with company match; let us help you save for your futureHealthcare; Medical, Dental, VisionPerks, perks, perks!
