Certified Pharmacy Technician - Specialty

Scope of Responsibilities: Works under general supervision. Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. May assist in orienting and training employees. Job Summary: Responsible for filling and finalizing all orders prior to their reaching a pharmacist and then facilitating the shipment of medications to patients and providers across the country. Prepare medication orders for final review by a pharmacistResponsible for the proper and accurate filling of each individual order Maintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisor Prepare refrigerated and non-refrigerated shipments for UPS and FedEx dailyAssist in preparation of packaging for shipmentsCheck in orders and ensure appropriate stocking levels in pharmacyMaintain a professional and clean appearance in pharmacy alwaysMay assist in orienting and training new employeesResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsPerform other duties as assignedEducational Requirements:Minimum: High School Diploma or GEDMinimum: Pharmacy Technician (required for Mississippi location)Preferred: Pharmacy Technician (New York location only) or related certificationExperience: Experience in a customer service related field3-6 months’ experience as a pharmacy technicianSpecial Conditions of Employment:Drug testInitial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoringAny and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific positionCompensation$15.97-17.71 per hour.The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. is a multistate organization and abides by all local, state, and federal regulations as it pertains to minimum wage requirements.
