This position will also support investigation, discussion and analysis of quality and maintenance related issues and implementation of quality improvements at the facility.Hold Point InspectionsPerform after-repair and/or after finishing hold point inspectionsDocument results and ensure defects are addressedLead discussion on communicating findingsInvestigate trendsAdd-OnsFunction as designated add-on approverAuditingAssist quality team with internal audits to confirm compliance with GATX, regulatory and customer requirementsWork with applicable individuals to devise and implement actions to correct deficiencies and follow up on those actions to ensure effectiveness, as neededTechnical ResourceFunction as a technical quality resource for GATX personnel throughout the facilityApply the GATX Quality program requirements to railcar repairs and support the development of others’ quality knowledgeInteraction:The individual in this position will interact with all levels of personnel throughout both the facility and the organization.
