Production position that will assist with all functions of production in a steel processing facility with deck rolling mills, paint line, weld line, fabrication/assembly area, and accessories equipment.Material handling with forklift, crane, or by handOperation of all plant equipmentAssembly of specialized productsLight maintenance dutiesAny other duties necessary for improving plant/equipment performanceAbility to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner in a fast-paced environmentAble to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected eventsStrong communication and teamwork skillsSelf-directed and motivatedWell organized and detail orientatedSolid mechanical aptitude and a desire to problem solveMust have good math skills, as well as oral and written communication skillsMust be able to lift 75 poundsFormal technical education or equivalent, preferredPrevious experience in an industrial plant or equivalent, preferredSteel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
