Emergency Department Technician - CNA

Description u2022 Prepares the necessary information (i.e. patients results), equipment and supplies for exam. u2022 Processes requests for prescription refills according to established practice. u2022 Collects and sends specimens to appropriate labs for testing per protocol. u2022 Promptly and accurately reports and refers patient's concerns and symptoms, reactions, changes (appropriate to age) to licensed clinic personnel. u2022 Schedules and edits and maintains patient physician appointments for new and returning patients, using the scheduling system. u2022 Schedule radiology appointments u2022 Maintains clean and orderly exam rooms, hallways and work areas. u2022 Informs patient's authorization and collects payment for new and returning patients, using the scheduling system. u2022 Collects patient demographic and insurance data and enters into systems, as well as assigns medical record numbers u2022 Assures appropriate verifications and authorizations are complete before patient sees provider u2022 Assists with all messaging from the patient to the physician in a timely manner Skills Medical, emergency response, Epic, Bls, Cpr Top Skills Details Medical,emergency response Additional Skills & Qualifications CNA BLS Emergent experience Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Stanford, CA.
