The _Hotel del Coronado_ is currently hiring a Director of Guest Services This role manages, administers, and supervises all Guest Services/Bell Services and Contracted areas, in order to maintain the highest level of courteous, professional and efficient service to all guests. Position Summary: + u00b7Hires, supervises, counsels, disciplines, and evaluates all Guest Services Department Managers and Team Members.+ u00b7Action items include, but are not limited to oManaging Self and Valet Parking logistics oMaximizing and Driving revenue opportunities (Parking Pricing, Porterage, Room Drops, etc) oManaging Payroll Costs, Productivity and Staffing Levels oManaging Property Wayfinding, including signage for drives and parking structures oMaintaining ADA compliance oManage the VIP arrival experience team, sales programs, payroll costs, and review of logs in order to follow up on guest concerns. + u00b7Manages all scheduling, and training programs of the Bell, Door, Valet, and Guest Experience Liaison Staff. Monitors employee performance and encourages improvement.+ u00b7Manages Executive Office projects by directing staff and monitoring progress as required.+ u00b7Interacts positively with customers and take action to resolve problems to the satisfaction of parties involved.+ u00b7Develops, inputs into the computer and monitor, daily, weekly, monthly, and annual department wide budgets and forecasts. Reviews, submits for approval, and order capital budget items as required.+ u00b7All other duties as assigned. Supportive Functions: In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company. + u00b7Coordinates staffing and logistics for all major group movements and special requirements, (e.g., alternative luggage storage for large groups).+ u00b7Participates in Manager on Duty coverage program requiring constant monitoring throughout hotel and trouble shoot problems. Required Qualifications + u00b7Minimum Education: High School Diploma+ u00b7Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years of hotel experience+ u00b7Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years of luxury hotel experience+ u00b7Valid driveru2019s license with clean record Preferred Qualifications + u00b7Education: Bacheloru2019s Degree preferred+ u00b7Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years Supervisory/Management Experience including Project Management+ u00b7Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year Parking Management Experience preferred _Salary Range: $95,000-$100,000 based on applicable experience_ What are we looking for?
