Job Title: General Labor - 1st Shift 18/hr Job Description Join our dynamic team to work collaboratively in groups of 3-4 people, handling pre-cut materials and assembling them with precision. Your role will involve loading materials into a laser system, matching wood pieces to truss outlines, and securing them with metal plates using hand tools. Once assembled, the truss is rolled for security using industrial equipment. This role involves both material handling and assembly tasks. Responsibilities + Work collaboratively in teams of 3-4 people. + Handle pre-cut wood from the saw room and move it to the designated work area. + Load wood into a laser system and match the wood pieces to the truss outline. + Join wood pieces together using a hammer and metal plates. + Operate a large industrial roller to secure assembled trusses. + Turn and plate the trusses, ensuring they are securely rolled. + Manage the movement of materials after assembly. Essential Skills + Experience in general labor and manual labor. + Construction and carpentry skills. + Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly tasks. + Ability to lift 50 pounds. + Experience with tape measures and rulers. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in construction or building. + Comfort working outdoors. + Background in framing and packaging. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MILLBURY, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
