Financial Analyst/Data Analyst

Description We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst/Data Analyst to join our client's finance team in a remote (day to day) BUT 10% (can increase with acquisitions) travel to plant locations all over the US and possibly internationally in the future. In this role, you will support strategic decision-making within the aerospace industry by analyzing financial data, creating dynamic reporting tools, and driving process improvements. While this position is primarily remote, travel to plant locations is required, approximately 10% of the time (may increase). Ideal candidate will live in the PA/NJ area as that is where current team members live and will make it easier if a very occasional in-person team meeting is necessary. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and forecasts to support business decision-making. u2022 Develop and enhance financial models for budgeting and long-range planning processes. u2022 Identify trends and variances in large datasets to uncover actionable insights. u2022 Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations using advanced Excel and Power BI. u2022 Extract, transform, and manage business data using tools like Power Query or enterprise systems. u2022 Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve decision-making processes. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and enhance operational efficiency. u2022 Optimize existing financial workflows and reporting systems for greater accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide insights for special projects. u2022 Travel to plant locations periodically, approximately 10% of the time. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree and at least 2 years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP& A, Business Analytics, or a related field. u2022 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. u2022 Familiarity with data extraction tools, including Power Query and enterprise data systems. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills. u2022 Solid understanding of corporate finance principles. u2022 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving team environment. u2022 Interest in financial analysis and corporate finance processes.
