Customer Service Representative

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. This role is with a global industrial distribution company and involves building ongoing business relationships with our customers through repeated contact and consultation. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be providing expert assistance to a wide variety of questions and problems. Unlike most CSR roles, you will build ongoing business relationships with our customers through repeated contact and consultation. As this is a service and parts center, our ability to get customersu2019 business often depends on your ability to quickly and efficiently provide them with just the right parts and/or solutions u2013 especially when customers are experiencing costly equipment breakdowns. You will also occasionally have hands-on duties that will require mechanical aptitude. Hours: either 7:30AM or 8AM u2013 4:30PM or 5PM. Depending on your start time. Pay : $18- 20 u2022 Assist customers by phone and in person at our facility u2022 Help customers get the parts they need u2022 Interact extensively with customers to clarify their needs, research, and recommend parts u2022 Meet / exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction u2022 Provide quotes u2022 Take orders u2022 Provide post order service u2022 Physically measure specs on a wide variety of parts REQUIREMENTS Our Customer Service Representatives are self-motivated and driven by a desire to exceed expectations. They have strong prioritization and multitasking skill, a sense of urgency, and display excellent verbal and written communication. Interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport, build solid relationships with a wide variety of customers are critical. Specific qualifications for the role include: u2022 Minimum 6 months of customer service experience u2022 Mechanical and mathematical aptitude u2022 Excellent telephone skills u2022 Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly u2022 Strong computer skills, particularly Excel u2022 High school diploma or equivalent u2022 Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR) u2022 SAP / ERP experience, preferred u2022 Knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics, preferred Requirements u2022 Proficiency in handling and answering inbound calls u2022 Experience in Call Center Customer Service u2022 Superior skills in customer service u2022 Familiarity with data entry tasks u2022 Ability to manage email correspondence efficiently u2022 Experience with both inbound and outbound calls u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word u2022 Experience in order entry u2022 Ability to schedule appointments effectively u2022 Strong communication and interpersonal skills u2022 Ability to work in a team environment u2022 Problem-solving and decision-making abilities u2022 Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently u2022 High attention to detail and accuracy u2022 Strong organizational skills u2022 Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
