Maintenance Electrician

Job Title: Shift Maintenance Electrician Job Description The maintenance electrician plays a vital role in maintaining the plant's entire electrical systems and installing new systems independently to enhance safety and productivity. Responsibilities + Maintain and install plant electrical systems without supervision. + Read, edit, and create PLC Ladder Logic for production equipment. + Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade electrical and control systems. + Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections. + Keep backup documentation for equipment settings. + Collaborate with vendors to resolve electrical issues. + Train other maintenance employees or operators on new systems. + Adhere to NFPA70E, OSHA, and company safety standards. Essential Skills + Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. + Ability to work with PLC programming and electrical schematics. + Problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. + Good communication and teamwork skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Around 5 years of experience in an environment with high-tech machines. + Prior manufacturing, maintenance, electrical, and mechanical experience preferred. + Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for 8 or more hours per day. + Experience in climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending occasionally. Work Environment Work on the 1st shift from 7 am to 3:30 pm with potential overtime. The manufacturing facility exposes employees to varying temperatures, requiring personal protective equipment at all times. The role is fast-paced, requiring quick troubleshooting and problem-solving under time constraints.
