Team Lead Registered Nurse u2013 Operating Room u2013 40 Hours/Week u2013 Day Shift Eligible for full-time benefits Shift: 6:30AM to 3:00PM GENERAL SUMMARY Team Lead RN - Operating Room coordinates activities of staff in the operating room, and provides oversight for front line staff in collaboration with O.R. leadership. Serves as liaison between surgeon, operating room staff, and management. Acts as resource for questions or issues related to procedures or surgeon preference. Coordinates day-to-day operational needs by setting priorities, planning for and addressing staffing needs, and coordinating work across other teams as needed. Provides guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members and provides input in employment decisions; performance issues and performance reviews. May serve in various clinical nursing roles (i.e., direct care nurse, charge nurse, etc.). EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED u00b7 Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required. u00b7 BSN Preferred. u00b7 Two to three (2-3) years of relevant acute care nursing experience required. u00b7 A member of AORN organization preferred. u00b7 Actively participates in the O.R. Shared Governance Council or Committee. u00b7 Current licensure by the State of Michigan as a registered nurse required. u00b7 ACLS preferred. u00b7 Health care provider certification (BCLS) required. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED u00b7 Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
