Field Service Technician

A company in Carrollton GA is seeking an experienced Field Technician to join our team. Candidates must have prior experience as a Field technician or in closely related technical role. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist customers in fulfilling service needs Servicing of customers fire extinguishers including annual maintenance, recharging or repair and hydrostatic testing Servicing of customers Emergency and Exit lights to including required maintenance or repair Advise customer on fire protection equipment and techniques, as well as fire code standards and interpretation and compliance Perform site surveys to educate customers of required related fire protection equipment - Monitor and report issues with operation of company vehicle Monitor and maintain proper working order of recharge equipment used on company service vehicle Understand product capabilities, warranties, product usages, and challenges, to further educate and serve external customers Responsible for notifying direct supervisor of any equipment break down or malfunction or any unsafe working conditions Responsible for complying and enforcing safety requirements while on company property and at customer’s site Perform other related duties as assigned and as necessary depending on the situation and location QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Strong customer service orientation - both external and internal Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written Time management - strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Flexibility - ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, hectic work environment - Excellent driving record Schedule: 1st Shift Pay: (depending on experience) Benefits of working with Express: Excellent pay Holiday and Vacation Pay Medical Benefits 401K Training Referral Bonuses
