Position Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Support Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support for our Jasper facility as well as general remote worker IT support. This role is critical in ensuring smooth IT operations, supporting local employees, and driving technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly communicative, and capable of taking initiative to resolve issues promptly. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE Teams and Active Directory are MUST haves This person needs terrific soft skills and a proven ability to build trust/ strong relationships Key Responsibilities PC Rebuilds & Hardware Provisioning u2022 Perform system imaging, configuration, and deployment of desktops and laptops. u2022 Manage hardware lifecycle, including setup, maintenance, and replacement. u2022 Develop written processes which are repeatable and reproducible. Software Support u2022 Install, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise applications and productivity tools. u2022 Provide hands-on support for local employees to ensure minimal downtime. Microsoft Teams Support & Implementation u2022 Leads Teams deployment, configuration, and user training. u2022 Manage Teams operations both at the client side (desktop/mobile) and rooms side (conference room systems). u2022 Troubleshoot Teams-related issues and optimize collaboration tools for meetings and calls. Account Creation & Identity Management u2022 Create and manage user accounts across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise systems. u2022 Ensure proper access controls and permissions are applied in line with security policies. u2022 Support identity lifecycle management, including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding. General IT & Networking Support u2022 Provide first-level troubleshooting for network connectivity issues (wired and wireless). u2022 Assist with basic network configuration and escalation to network engineering when needed. u2022 Support printers, peripherals, and other connected devices. u2022 Intake and triage level 2 (escalated) IT support issues for remote workers Cross-Team Collaboration u2022 Work closely with adjacent teams such as Networking, Cybersecurity, and Facilities to ensure seamless technology integration and support. u2022 Communicate effectively across departments to resolve issues and implement improvements. Qualifications u2022 Experience: Minimum five years of progressive, hands-on experience in IT support or a closely related technical role. Technical Skills: u2022 Strong knowledge of Windows OS, PC rebuild processes, and hardware provisioning. u2022 Expertise in Microsoft Teams installation, management, and operation for both end-user devices and Teams Rooms systems. u2022 Familiarity with enterprise software and collaboration tools (Microsoft 365 suite). u2022 Experience with Active Directory and identity management systems. u2022 Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and troubleshooting. Soft Skills: u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, across all levels of the organization. u2022 Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. u2022 Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
