Stacker - Day Shift

Job Title: Stacker - Day Shift Job Description Join a dynamic team in a production environment dedicated to producing high-quality food products. This role involves working on production lines, boxing, stacking, loading, and unloading products into machines, as well as palletizing and wrapping finished goods. You will handle boxes weighing between 15-20 pounds, either loading them at the start of the process or stacking them on pallets at the end. Responsibilities + Work on production lines boxing and stacking products. + Load and unload products into machines. + Palletize products and wrap them for distribution. + Open boxes containing empty glass bottles and feed them into production machines. + Maintain cleanliness of the work area throughout the day. + Follow all GMP practices. Essential Skills + Ability to lift 15-20 pounds. + Capable of standing for 10-12 hour shifts. + Experience working on a high-speed production line. + Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in warehouse and production environments. + Familiarity with pallet jacks and packing procedures. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a food manufacturing setting, which can be cold in winter and warm in summer, with no air conditioning or heating. Employees will be near machines that may emit heat and must be comfortable with strong food odors. Safety gear, including gloves, beard nets, hair nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses, is provided. Steel-toed boots are required, and royal blue shirts will be supplied. Expect to work alongside 10-20 team members per line, with a total of 160-200 people in the warehouse during peak season. A break room with microwaves and vending machines is available, and lockers are provided for personal belongings. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hurlock, MD.
