Overview Job Summary Details: The Electrician III safely performs troubleshooting, maintenance, tests, repairs and electrical installations in large commercial settings. Pay: $37.00 per hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicantu2019s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. For information about ABMu2019s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits Front Line Team Members ( (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) Basic Qualifications: u2022 Must be 18 years or older u2022 Three (3) years of experience as a Journeyman in the electrical field is required. u2022 On the job training provided. u2022 Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license. u2022 Must possess journeyman electrician's license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed. Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Five (5) years of experience as an electrician is preferred. u2022 Prior experience as electrician in an industrial or commercial setting is preferred. Responsibilities: u2022 Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment on-site u2022 Perform electrical installations of a commercial nature u2022 Plan layout and installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wiring and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes u2022 Install electrical conduit, equipment, fixtures or wiring in floors, walls and ceilings u2022 Install, inspect and test electrical systems u2022 Perform installations which include but are not limited to panel boards, conduits, lay-in fixtures, wall packs, exit signs, light fixtures, disconnects, breakers, power distribution equipment and power supply wiring u2022 Refer to labels, job site maps, instruction manuals, and written instructions to accurately to perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards u2022 Report work orders, scheduled jobs and work progress to a foreperson u2022 Ensure code compliance through proper installation of electrical components A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
